Measurements: c. 9–10 cm long trilobite (if outstretched) – c. 20 cm across genal spines – c. 22.5 × 13 × 9 cm matrix
Weight: 2.09 kg (protective box included)
Platypeltoides cuervoae is a very rare trilobite, with probably fewer than ten specimens known. Although the preservation of this specimen is not perfect, most of the trilobite is preserved, including the characteristic long genal spines. Small restorations are present on each genal spine and there may be additional restoration on the pygidium.
