Locality: Atsimo-Andrefana, Madagascar

Measurements: c. 27 cm diameter
Weight: 7.7 kg

A large ammonite Perisphinctes in beautiful brownish calcite shell. A bivalve is naturally preserved within the umbilicus. The inner whorls are nearly completely preserved. Superb !
The stand is not included.
