Measurements: c. 6 cm long (largest trilobite) – Base 13.5 × 8 cm – 15 cm high
Weight: 1.15 kg (protective box included)
Eccoptochile is a trilobite genus that occurs occasionally in the Ordovician of Morocco, most often represented by imperfectly preserved specimens. While this specimen is no exception, it is particular in that it consists of a mass-occurrence of 9 complete and 6 partial specimens, all unrestored.
