This is a very rare trilobite from Hmar Laghdad, a locality that became famous for its red Devonian trilobites and red trilobites with green eyes. The specimen is an undescribed Odontopleuridae close to the genus Ceratocephala, showing minute ornamentation on pygidial spines. The few specimens known from Hmar Laghdad are brown or yellowish. This bright golden specimen is very beautiful under appropriate lighting and is unrestored.
