A superb fish with outstanding preservation of scales, fins and head details. An exquisite fossil ! As usual with fossils from the lower Triassic of northern Madagascar, the specimen consists of the external moulds of the left and right flanks of the fish, preserved in a calcareous concretion. Some of the cracks were filled.
