An exceptional Heliopeltis johnsoni trilobite with a total of 22 spines, with 14 of them on the thorax (most specimens have 10). The very long spines make the specimen larger than most Heliopeltis. A well-prepared and very unusual trilobite. Very small repairs visible on a few spines. Otherwise a superb display-specimen.
