Wonderful 17.8 cm coelacanth fish – Whiteia woodwardi

We present here a fantastic Triassic coelacanth fish. The fossil consists of two parts preserved in a calcareous concretion: the external moulds of the left and right sides of the coelacanth. Exquisite preservation of fins and scales. The coelacanth was left unrestored.
